Learn More About Epoxy

What is Epoxy? Epoxy refers to any of the basic components or cured end products of epoxy resins, as well as a colloquial name for the epoxied functional group. Epoxy resins, also known as polyepoxides, are a class of reactive prepolymers and polymers which contain epoxied groups.

Here at Lilac City Painting we will install your epoxy floors with certified installers from the U.S. leading manufactures. We have multiple Epoxy crews dedicated to your epoxy projects whether it’s seamless floors, performance flooring, floor resurfacing, restoration & repair, or decorative finishing.

Epoxy has graduated from just your average garage fleck floor. Epoxy is still the number one choice for garage and shop floors due to its extreme durability, and being slip resistant and easy to clean, however, with the new designer epoxy products you can achieve the look of granite or stone, customized to any color scheme making it a gorgeous and cost-effective option for flooring in your home. Epoxy is fully customizable with multiple fleck options, colors, finishes, decals, logos, reflective properties and even glitter. If your tastes run a bit more conservative, we can easily create a solid color floor in mat or gloss finishes suitable for any space in your home or business.

Epoxy floors are hermetically sealed and antimicrobial, making them a perfect choice for hospitals, schools, offices, restaurants, bathrooms, daycare centers, hair salons and spas, senior care facilities, fitness centers, and anywhere it is imperative to keep germs at a minimum.
